Located in the So 7 area, this is the coolest coffee shop in Fort Worth.
Outside, there are several benches with umbrellas on the large patio. There is a small 6 hole putt putt area. Strands of Edison bulbs hang over the entirety of it and you can hear the music from Barcadia across the street.
Inside there are a few tables in front of the counter. Walk further back and there is an impressive library with a high ceiling, a long wooden table with old lamps, leather couches and sliding metal doors in case you need privacy to have a meeting. This is the perfect place for a book club gathering.
The service could have been friendlier, but the cappuccino was perfection. The latte was something you wanted to hold close to you to take in the warmth and aroma. This is a place to savor the beverage and the experience.
Aside from coffee drinks, Mudsmith also serves some good looking sandwiches, sweets, craft beer and wine.
Skip Starbucks and get to this local hidden gem.
